Egrets, While War

Acclaimed poet, novelist and dancer Tishani Doshi brings words and movement together in Egrets, While War, a mesmerising performance inspired by her new poetry collection. The poems navigate the deep entanglements of environmental loss, ancestral memory, the slow transformations of ageing, and the devastation of war. Doshi explores what it means to inhabit a body in a world marked by beauty, violence and change. Combining poetry, dance, and film, Egrets, While War is an immersive meditation on our fragile world.
