“Some of the most beautiful music I’ve heard at the Tiny Desk.” - Bob Boilen, NPR Music
Icelandic composer and musician Ólafur Arnalds makes his Adelaide Festival debut with Falling Apart Together, his most daring live experience yet that blurs the boundaries between concert and shared music ritual.
Touring with a string quartet and percussionist, Arnalds’ signature fusion of neoclassical, ambient and contemporary electronics is a music experience that, in his words, “attempts to dismantle the distance between us, revealing the shared humanity that emerges when we allow ourselves to be exposed.”
Following globally acclaimed tours for recent albums re:member and some kind of peace visiting iconic venues such as Sydney Opera House and Royal Albert Hall, Arnalds now brings this spellbinding blend of new material and past favourites to Adelaide for one night only.
