Australian Dance Theatre has invited lauded choreographer Jenni Large to create a freaky fairy tale-infused fantasia in the world premiere of Faraway.

Revelling in physical extremes that have seen dancers wade through water atop eight-inch heels, Large is one of Australia’s most daring and singular choreographic voices. In this sinuous new work, the darkness of our collective dreams unfurls around the audience as they enter a nostalgic delusion that is grim, glam, scintillating and sensual.
