Latvian Voices is an acclaimed a cappella ensemble drawing on the rich choral heritage of Latvia, a country known as the “land that sings”. Led by composer and artistic director Laura Jēkabsone, the six-voice ensemble brings together Latvian and Baltic folk traditions, original compositions and contemporary a cappella arrangements. Since forming in 2009, Latvian Voices has performed in more than 35 countries, appearing at venues including the Elbphilharmonie, Berlin Konzerthaus, Leipzig Gewandhaus and Kennedy Center.
