FRONT OF HOUSE POSITIONS
Do you have Front of House experience? Do you enjoy working with people and delivering amazing customer service? Are you free in March?! Answer yes to any of these, and you might be exactly the person we’re looking for to join the team! Please read about our FOH supervisor and attendant roles below.

Front of House Supervisors
We are looking for staff who have exceptional interpersonal skills, be motivated, energetic and highly efficient. FOH Supervisors will be rostered at Adelaide Festival venues that do not supply their own FOH services and those with previous FOH experience, ticketing experience, a performance background, gallery invigilation, or administration experience are encouraged to apply.

Front of House Attendants
Front of House Attendants must have exceptional interpersonal skills, be motivated, energetic and highly efficient. Applicants should have previous FOH experience and a knowledge and appreciation of live theatre. FOH Attendants will be rostered at Adelaide Festival venues that do not supply their own FOH services. Key functions include, providing a high level of customer service for audiences, assisting patrons and assisting in preparing the venue for audiences.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Adelaide Festival is regarded as one of the great multi-arts festivals of the world, placing Adelaide at the centre of Australia’s cultural life. The Adelaide Festival Board seeks an Executive Director to provide exceptional strategic and cultural leadership, focussing on audience, philanthropic and commercial growth, while maintaining robust connections within political, business and artistic communities.

The Executive Director will join the organisation at a time of exciting change working with Artistic Directors Rachel Healy, Neil Armfield AO and the Adelaide Festival administrative team. Providing outstanding leadership and vision, this critical role will oversee the seventh and final festival of the current Artistic Directors and the critical transition to a new Artistic Director in preparation for their inaugural Festival in 2024.

This senior national and international role requires extensive knowledge of the arts, high-level management skills and an innate understanding of the balancing act required to simultaneously achieve tremendous artistic, financial, audience and community outcomes.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR 

Adelaide Festival is regarded as one of the great multi-arts festivals of the world, placing Adelaide at the centre of Australia’s cultural life. The Adelaide Festival Board seeks an exceptional Artistic Director to succeed Neil Armfield and Rachel Healy when they complete their tenure in 2023.

The Artistic Director is responsible for the Festival’s artistic vision, overseeing all aspects of the program, collaborating with artists and companies within South Australia, Australia and around the globe to create and drive a bold, multi-genre annual program celebrating excellence, diversity and innovation in the arts.

Working with the Board and Executive Director, the Artistic Director will shape a program which is both compelling and inventive, engaging and inspiring audiences of scale, that continues to cement Adelaide’s reputation as a Festival city of international renown.

This senior national and international role requires extensive global knowledge of the arts, working across genres, with the skill, dynamism and ambition required to simultaneously achieve tremendous artistic, audience and community outcomes.
