Your gift creates new and exciting opportunities.

Adelaide Festival simply cannot achieve its artistically ambitious goals without significant philanthropic support. We hope you join us and take great pleasure and satisfaction as we embark on this rewarding journey together.

Every donation makes a significant impact on the scale and ambition of each Adelaide Festival. If you prefer to spread your tax-deductible donations over the course of a year, regular giving allows donors to make a monthly pledge.

All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible. There are multiple ways you can donate:

Looking for an increased level of involvement and financial support?

Adelaide Festival Benefactors
Benefactors are invited to align their contributions with specific outcomes, works and/or areas of interest (i.e. First Nations works, education, new works, opera, visual arts, concerts, ballet).

Opera Donor Circle and The Literati

Donor Circles empower individuals and increase the impact of your gift. Joining a circle means joining a group of like-minded supporters who are passionate about keeping this iconic event vibrant, inspiring and accessible to all, to build on the legacy of Adelaide Festival and Writers’ Week for this and future generations of opera and literature lovers.

Chairman's Circle
As a collective, the Chairman’s Circle annual investment directly supports one prestigious work in the Festival program which is exclusive to the Adelaide Festival. These sponsored awarding-winning works include The James Plays, Saul, Hamlet, The Magic Flute, Requiem,  A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Golden Cockerel, Messa da Requiem and The Nightingale and Other Fables.

Adelaide Festival Contemporary
Collectively, the Adelaide Festival Contemporary choose the piece of work they will be aligned to and support within the annual Festival Program – be this the contemporary music program, a piece of contemporary theatre or a new contemporary dance presented in the Adelaide Festival.

Commissioning Programme
Adelaide Festival commissions and champions Australia’s most innovative new work along with presenting the world’s greatest artists and performing arts creators. As an active participant in the Major Festivals Initiative, Adelaide Festival is one of the most significant commissioning forces in Australia.

Legacy Giving & Bequests
A bequest to the Adelaide Festival is a generous way for you to make a contribution with long term impact. Bequests to the Adelaide Festival, of any amount, can help expand our programs and strengthen our financial position as we plan for future festivals.
