The inclusion of a major opera as the centrepiece of the Festival has generated attention and excitement locally and nationally, but hallmark productions are expensive to produce and we cannot deliver work of this calibre and breadth without the philanthropic support of the Opera Donor Circle.
Our opera donors have made an incredible contribution to the Adelaide Festival since 2017, through supporting Saul, Hamlet, The Magic Flute, Requiem, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Golden Cockerel and Messa da Requiem.
The Opera Donor Circle is a group of about 50 members of interstate and Adelaide donors. The group is of tremendous help to ensure we can bring our yearly international opera centrepiece exclusively to Adelaide.
Benefits include personalised ticketing service (we have holds for the Opera Donor Circle members on premium tickets for the Opera Opening Night and other main shows during the Festival), a Friends membership (this gives you 15% off for selected performances), events throughout the year and a dinner on Opera Opening Night as well as invitations to our AF Christmas Celebrations and AF closing night and thank you event. A behind the scenes tour and meet up with the cast is also organised for this valuable donor group.
Every contribution to the Opera Donor Circle is fully tax deductible.
