How to Book

Adelaide Festival utilises different ticketing agencies for different shows and venues. If you click through to the show you want to buy on our What's On page, the Buy Tickets link on the page will take you to the right place.

If you are a Festival Friend, you can book tickets at Friends prices for select shows over the phone on 1300 393 404 or online. To book online, click through to the show you want to buy on our What's On page and use the Buy Friends Tickets link (where this price type applies) to make your online booking.

Ticket Discounts

We offer a range of different ticket prices types for people who fall into our concession categories, our Festival Friends, people under 30, groups and those with access requirements. Not all tickets types are available across all events - please see the individual shows pages for further information.

Festival Friends

If you love to be first in line for the world’s best theatre, dance, music, visual arts, literature and more, you'll love being a Friend of the Adelaide Festival. Exclusive benefits include:

15% discount on adult ticket prices to select Adelaide Festival performances, limited to two tickets per event
Phone booking service through Adelaide Festival 1300 393 404
Access the best seats in the house during the priority-booking period, on shows presented by the Adelaide Festival (excludes opening nights)
Email updates with exclusive news, offers and giveaways all year round
Option to exchange tickets to another performance of the same event, subject to terms and conditions

Concession

Concession-priced tickets are available for Pensioners, Health Care Card Holders* and MEAA/Actors' Equity members. Valid identification must be provided for ticket collection and for admission to the venue.

*Please note: The Commonwealth Senior Health and Seniors Cards are ineligible.

Full-Time Students & Under 30

If you’re a full-time student OR you’re aged under 30, you can purchase a limited number of discounted tickets to most Adelaide Festival events. Proof of eligibility may be required upon entry to the venue.

RAA Member Discount

RAA members are entitled to a 10% discount on adult-priced tickets to the following shows: Angélique Kidjo, Baleen Moondjan, Band of Brothers, Guuranda, Jungle Book reimagined and Time Machine.

Group Bookings

You can book a group of 6+ and save 15% per ticket: it's easy and you can do it directly online.

School Tickets

Open House Program

Our Open House program aims to make arts more accessible by supporting individuals and charitable organisations to attend Adelaide Festival. The program includes Tix for Next to Nix (limited $5 tickets to a selection of Festival events) and Pay What You Can tickets. Please visit our Open House page to find out more.
